Job Title: Regional Account Manager - Army, West

Location: Tacoma, WA (remote)

  • West Coast Territory - WA/AK

ADS, Inc. is currently seeking experienced business development professionals to represent ADS at program and contracting offices, focusing on Active Army and Army National Guard Customers on the West Coast. This role will require frequent travel (50-75%). Ideal candidates will be those who possess strong defense sales experience working with military or government/state/local customers.

Field Service Representative Duties:

  • Generate sales within assigned program offices
  • Identify program needs and objectives to create business opportunities for ADS
  • Identify initial purchases and priorities, manufacturers, product categories and technologies
  • Identify preferred and/or optimal means of procurement
  • Serve as the lead for all large scale solicitations
  • Engage and establish long term sales and service solutions
  • Analyze market trends, new requirements, new program inceptions
  • Gather intelligence to grow business within your accounts
  • Create new solutions in response to market changes
  • Help structure and grow program development business sales
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Generate reports and respond to requests for information on time

Field Service Representative Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years prior military or civil service experience
  • 2 years of experience supporting government programs in sales or development
  • 2 years of experience working with government contracts & procedures
  • 2 years of experience with MS Office
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Frequent travel required (Approximately 50-75% of time)
  • Understanding of the government acquisition and federal contracting process
  • Professional & polished demeanor
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities
  • Flexibility and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to build rapport and trust with customers and suppliers
  • Strong negotiation skills
