ADS Inc. has an immediate job opening for an experienced Oracle developer with extensive Oracle Application Express (APEX) knowledge as well as data integration skills with, Oracle 12.2.5 eBusiness Suite, Jitterbit (Middleware), EDI, and ecommerce at our Virginia Beach Headquarters. We are seeking a dynamic, team-oriented individual with solid leadership skills to join a team delivering solution based services to ADS sales and operations.   • Must be United States Citizen


  • 3 - 5 years of experience in designing, developing, implementing interfaces, extensions (API's) and reports in an Oracle, APEX, and/or environment.
  • Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, Web Services, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Forms, Application Express 5.x, and Oracle RDBMS 12c.
    • Oracle Applications Technical Knowledge: Inventory, Purchasing, Payables and Order Management
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, and JSON
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong knowledge of differences with various browsers such as Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer and Safari
  • Solid working knowledge of software development life cycles
  • Knowledge of the layers and components of web applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational skills for managing and coordinating a variety of tasks simultaneously

Job Duties:

  • Participation in the full development life cycle for software development programs including design of software components, developing code, updating technical documents, generating test plans, and ensuring code meets requirements through unit testing and implementation.
  • Development and deployment of integrated solutions using APEX to enhance, consolidate, and coordinate independently designed applications enterprise-wide; lead projects and/or assist in scheduling and coordinating project deliverables.
  • Applies thorough technical knowledge and understanding of business applications required to facilitate the development of supporting knowledge architecture and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine business requirements.
  • Produce quality deliverables in accordance with corporate development procedures within expected timeframes
